KSC S.A. opened its Sugar Terminal in the Port of Gdansk

KSC S.A. invested over PLN 100 mio. to develop the Sugar Terminal, the silo and quay infrastructure. This move will help the Company reach new markets in Asia and Africa. Krajowa Spolka Cukrowa plans to ship 300,000 tons of sugar over its terminal in the coming years. A few dozen jobs will be created in the Tricity as a result of the project.

Cedrob Group will invest 100 million in a cold store

The main event of the first day of Congress 590 in Jasionka near Rzeszow was Cedrob Porty Sp. z o.o. and the Port of Gdansk Authority SA signing the preliminary agreement for the construction of a high-storage cold store. It is a strategic investment for which Cedrob Group, the Polish leader of the meat sector, will allot PLN 100 million.

PGA SA signed a cooperation agreement with World War II Museum

The signing ceremony took place in Museum headquarters on september 30th 2019. In the presence of Jaroslaw Sellin, Secretary of State at Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, parties were represented by dr Karol Nawrocki, Director of World War II Museum in Gdansk and Lukasz Greinke, President of the Board of Port of Gdansk Authority SA.

Containers at the Szczecinskie Quay at the Port of Gdansk

A new regular container line appeared at the Szczecinskie Quay at the Port of Gdansk. The Samskip shipping company is introducing a weekly connection between Gdansk and the ports of Denmark and Norway. The Port Gdanski Eksploatacja company will take care of handling the cargo.

Another step towards the Central Port

The Central Port in Gdansk is the largest planned maritime investment in Europe. The Port of Gdansk Authority (PGA) has signed an agreement with a consulting company, which will support the construction of the port basing on a public-private partnership model.
