Iceland's Minister of Fisheries visits Poland
The Minister of Fisheries of the Republic of Iceland, Kristján Þór Júlíusson, met with representatives of the Port of Gdansk Authority. He learned about the port's potential in the context of using it for trade between Poland and Iceland. In Gdansk, the delegation also visited the cold storage and deepwater terminal.

Changes to the composition of the Board of the PGE
On 21 February 2018, Piotr Karczewski handed in his resignation from the function of President of the Port Gdanski Eksploatacja S.A.. He will cease performing his duties on 28 February. The decision was made for personal reasons. The PGE Supervisory Board accepted Mr. Karczewski's resignation.

The Port of Gdansk will expand the Oliwskie Quay

quarter of 2020, the Port of Gdansk is planning to put the modernised and expanded Oliwskie Quay into operation. The company put
a contract
out to tender and potential contractors can submit offers to 12 January. It is yet another investment which the PGA is planning to launch in the coming months. In total, the Port intends to spend about PLN 1 billion on investments by 2020.
