	A visit of delegates from Odessa 17.12.2007 On 14 December this year, the Port of Gdansk was hosting representatives of the Odessa District in Ukraine headed by Governor Nikolay Serdyuk. The delegation was composed of district and city representatives as well as delegates of the port in Odessa. The visitors received a welcome from PGA SA Vice-President of the Board Marian Switek, which was followed by a discussion focusing on development perspectives "Port of Gdansk - 21st century". Next, the delegates listened to an overall introduction of the Port of Gdansk and learned about transformation processes, restructuring and incorporations at the Port of Gdansk in the years 1990-2001. Upon their visit at the headquarters of PGA SA, the delegation proceeded to the Harbour Master's Office tower at the Northern Port where they were briefed on the operations of existing cargo handling facilities as well as new investment projects and land earmarked for development.
