Announcement concerning fuels investments at the Port of Gdansk

06.02.2008

On 4 February this year, a meeting was held in Warsaw gathering representatives of the Port of Gdansk Authority SA, Przedsiębiorstwo Eksploatacji Rurociagow Naftowych [Crude Petroleum Pipelines] "Przyjazn" SA and Operator Logistyczny Paliw Plynnych [Liquid Fuels Logstics] Sp. z o.o. The objective of the meeting was to agree a common strategy in terms of infrastructure development and boosting the throughtput capacity of crude oil and oil-derivatives in the Gdansk port area.

The possibility was discussed of developing the Liquid Fuels Logistics Centre, taking account of a variety of locations indicated by PGA SA on the premises of the Port of Gdansk. With the purpose of implementing this enterprise, a Steering Committee was set up that will continue the work on defining the necessary warehouse, yard and throughput quantities as well as the resources to finance the investment.

Another meeting has been scheduled for 19 February this year.
