The Port of Gdansk Authority SA and its business partners have another reason to be proud15.12.2014  According to the figures provided by the Chief Port Dispatcher of the Port of Gdansk Authority SA responsible for the coordination and supervision of the vessel traffic, the Port of Gdansk achieved another record performance in its history, having exceeded the last year's record throughput of 30.3 million tonnes.
December 11th of this year saw the arrival of "Magleby Maersk" - one of the world's largest container ships operating under the ocean AE10 service. Consequently, a volume of more than 112 thousand tonnes of cargo was added to the port throughput results. The record-breaking tonne of cargo was handled on December 12th. The versatile business offer provided by the Port of Gdansk has been highly appreciated by the growing number of our business partners who are keen to use our extensive range of services available at the port. The right time to summarize the entire twelve months' operation of the port will be the beginning of the next year. However, already today we can say that we make new history and build a solid foundation for the economic growth.
