1st Maritime Fair of International Transport, Forwarding and Logistics BALT-TRANS-PORT'2002

On May 14^th this year the 1^st Maritime Fair of International Transport, Forwarding and Logistics BALT-TRANS-PORT will be held at the Fair Centre of Gdansk International Fair Co. The event is expected to gather over 60 national and foreign exhibitors representing seaports, ship owners, maritime agents, forwarding agencies, as well as the publishing houses specialized in the sector. The organizers of the Fair - Gdansk International Fair Co. together with Promare Ltd. - believe that the BALT-TRANS-PORT will substantially contribute to the intensified international maritime trade exchange according to the European Union Directives that consist in the following concepts: "From Land to Sea" and "Short Sea Shipping". The event will be accompanied by the Baltic Ports and Shipping Business Forum with conferences and seminars dealing with, inter alia, the development of regional transportation in the age of globalization and the crude oil transportation and handling. The Fair will be held until May 16^th.
