The state-of-the-art decoration of the spacious booth area (55 m2) that had been arranged by the Promotion Department of the Port of Gdansk Authority SA attracted considerable numbers of exhibition visitors, with the highlight of the stand being a large centrally-positioned screen showing the most interesting pictures of the city and the port.
Participation of the Port of Gdansk Authority SA in the BALTEXPO 2004 exhibition provided first and foremost the opportunity to present the offer of the Port of Gdansk in a comprehensive form and to show its recent achievements. For the disposal of those interested, besides the Port of Gdansk Handbook, available were also "Fee tariff for services of Port of Gdansk Authority SA", as well as "The Financial Report for the Year 2003". Those visiting the booth most frequently sought information on a new container terminal that is scheduled for construction at the Northern Port. The accompanying event to the exhibition was a conference on "Polish Ship Building Industry in the European Union"
