This year's cruise liners season has come to a close

11.10.2005

Monday, 10 October this year, saw the passenger ship "Nordkapp" berth at the Westerplatte Terminal. It was already the thirty-second call made by a passenger vessel this season and, in line with the list of calls expected this year - the last. An increasingly growing number of cruise liners calls has been met with great satisfaction, and especially as the steady growth has been reported for a consecutive time now. Not so long ago, the number of cruise liners visiting Gdansk in the summer season ranged from 7 to 10 vessels, whereas the last year saw this figure standing at 28. Importantly, the confirmed schedules for the upcoming years attest to this trend to be maintained, with the year 2006 expected to bring yet increased numbers of passenger ships calling at the Port of Gdansk.

The ship "Nordkapp" left Gdansk on Monday at 19:00 hrs and took the course for Oslo.
