EU ministers of transport on a visit to the Port of Gdansk

On 5 September 2011, the Port of Gdansk played host to Jean-Eric Paquet, Director at the Directorate-General of the European Commission for Mobility and Transport, and delegates representing the Danish Ministry of Transport, headed by Minister Jacob Heinsen. The visitors were welcomed by PGA SA Marketing Director, Julian Skelnik, who among other things presented a panoramic view of the quays from the vantage gondola on top of the Northern Port's Harbour Master's Office.

The delegates participated in an unofficial meeting of the European Union's Ministers of Transport, which was held in Sopot under the Polish Presidency. The meeting was focused on public-private partnership in developing infrastructure and its impact on public finances.
