The conference was found to provide most valuable grounds for discussions and exchanging information among representatives of businesses, local authorities, members of parliament originating from varied political groups and representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure. During the proceedings, issues were raised of pivotal importance in terms of the infrastructure development across the Pomeranian Province. Particular emphasis was laid on investments in road and rail development scheduled for implementation over the next few years, which aim at providing an improved land approach to seaports, thus bolstering their competitiveness and speeding up the economic growth throughout the whole country. That shaped up a suitable frame to raise the issue of the A-1 motorway construction, preliminary measures towards the commencement of the construction, as well as possible measures to accelerate the development of what appears to be the investment of profound consequence. |
