ISO 9001:2000 Certification in the company of Chemiki

On July 9 this year an official awarding celebration was held of the ISO 9001:2000 Certification to the company of "Chemiki" that render cargo handling and storage services at the quays of Przemyslowe and Chemikow. The quality management system certification in cargo handling and storage services was delivered by the Certification Office of the Polish Ship Register SA. The certificate was presented to the Managing Director of the Board of "Chemiki" Cargo Handling and Storage Services Ltd - Mr. Marek Ritter.

The company of "Chemiki" renders specialist services in cargo handling and storage of dry bulk and liquid cargoes. Additionally, it handles cargo in pallets and big bags. Cargoes handled by "Chemiki" comprise dry bulk and liquid fertilizers, molasses, feldspar, soda lye, hydrochloric and sulphuric acid. This is yet another company at the Port of Gdansk whose management system has obtained the international certification of conformity.
