On September 27 this year, a call is scheduled of a ro-ro vessel that will mark a launch of a new service "PolBridge", the service to be operated by a vessel provided by the Danish shipowner DFDS Tor Line - "Tor Belgia". The length of the ship is 193.25 meters and cargo capacity of nearly 2,700 lane meters. "Tor Belgia" will sail on the route: Goeteborg - Gdansk - Copenhagen - Goeteborg - Copenhagen - Gdansk - Copenhagen - Goeteborg. The vessel is scheduled to call at Gdansk on a twice-weekly basis and will be berthed at the Obroncow Westerplatte Quay. Owing to the suspension bridge, carriage of goods will be ensured a highly efficient connection with the national road network, in particular towards Warsaw. Calls are planned at Gdansk on Mondays (arrival at 20:00 hrs, departure at 11:00 hrs the following day) and Fridays (arrival at 7:00 hrs, departure at 21:00 hrs).
