NYK Lauritzen Cool - a new shipping line at the Port of Gdansk11.07.2007 The shipping operator NYK Lauritzen Cool has launched a new regular shipping service to the Port of Gdansk. The shipowner operates a fleet of over 60 reefer vessels dedicated to the haulage of refrigerated goods. With its head office based in Stockholm, Sweden, NYK Lauritzen Cool performs cargo handling operations through seven regional outposts located in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Great Britain, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa and USA. In the wake of the newly-launched shipping service, the Port of Gdansk will gain connections with ports in Argentina, thus expanding the range of shipping services by new destinations in South America. The line will be operated by vessels "Chalten", "Pacific Reefer", "Amer Choapa", "Amer Himalaya", "Ivory Tirupati", "Amer Fuji" and "Brazilian Reefer" covering the route San Antonio Este - San Pedro - Gdansk - St. Petersburg. The NYK Lauritzen Cool liner ships are scheduled to call at the Port of Gdansk on a twice-monthly basis. NYK Lauritzen Cool representative in Poland will be the Maritime Agency Gdynia Ltd.
