The Port of Gdansk Authority SA has been ranked among the prize-winners of Polish Masters of Business 201402.10.2014 21 prizes and 9 distinctions were awarded in the first edition of Polish Masters of Business, a competition organized with the substantial cooperation of Deutsche Bank and the business intelligence agency Bisnode, as well as the "Harvard Business Review Polska" and "Forbes" magazines. The prizes were awarded to the companies which on a yearly basis generate high profits, successfully achieve their defined business objectives and regularly report high revenue growth. The Port of Gdansk Authority Joint Stock Company received a Special Recognition Award as one of the most effectively operating companies in the region of Northern Poland. PGA SA President of the Board Dorota Raben was presented with a commemorative diploma.
Out of 75,000 companies under examination, the top 20 were nominated in each region of Poland. The competition board composed of: Leszek Niemycki - Vice-President of Deutsche Bank Polska SA, Andrzej Jacaszek - publisher and Witold Jankowski - editor-in-chief of "Harvard Business Review", Marcin Warszewski - General Manager of Liberty Ubezpieczenia, Niels Kowollik - CEO of Mercedes-Benz Polska, Jaroslaw Chudziak - Vice-President of Accenture, Andrzej Osinski - President of Bisnode Polska, and Piotr Przewrocki - President of Fineus, made a final selection of three regional winners. All winners were duly honoured at the gala event organised at the Capitol Theatre in Warsaw on 26 September. The Grand Prix of the Competition was awarded to Inpost Paczkomaty from Cracow.
