	Record cargo handling in May 02.06.2003 The month of May 2003 has proved to be the most successful month for the Port of Gdansk when it comes to cargo handling volumes in over 15 years. The records show a top volume of 2,374,224 tonnes of cargoes handled at the Gdansk quays. Although the figures stated above do not take all the quays into account, it is already known that during the first five months over 50% of the scheduled cargo volumes targeted for the year 2003 have been handled.
