Representatives of the Ningbo Port on a visit to the PGA SA

On 20 May this year, the Gdansk port was hosting a Chinese delegation of the city and the port of Ningbo. The Ningbo Port Group Limited ranks fourth among the biggest ports worldwide. It also takes an increasingly stronger position in the field of container turnover - the current throughput capacity amounts to 7.5 million TEU's and, by the end of this year, it is expected to grow by 10%. The visitors from China declared that they are keen on setting up a close cooperation with the Port of Gdansk Authority SA and extended an invitation to the President of the Board, Stanislaw Cora, to pay a return visit, during which precise conditions of the cooperation will be defined and an agreement signed. The return visit is scheduled for September.
