Representatives of the Republic of Belarus at the Port of Gdansk

On 24 June 2010, PGA SA played host to representatives of the Republic of Belarus, including Mr. Sergey Vladymyrovich Tkachenko - director of "Grodnoinvest" Free Economic Zone in Grodno, Mr. Nikolai Vasilyevich Lysenko - head of the railway station in Grodno, Mr. Jan Gajdel - representative of the General Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Gdansk. On behalf of the Gdansk port, the meeting was attended by Director Julian Skelnik and Department Manager Krzysztof Anzelewicz. The participants to the meeting were briefed on the operations performed by the port, by the Belarus railways and on the system of Belarus free economic zones, the Grodno zone in particular. During the visit, technical possibilities were considered of boosting the merchandise turnover between Belarus and Gdansk.
