Stanislaw Cora appointed President of the Board of the PGA SA15.11.2006 On 14 November 2006, the Supervisory Board of the Port of Gdansk Authority SA was in session chaired by Zbigniew Canowiecki. Following a competitive selection process - by secret ballot - the Supervisory Board members selected the President of the Board of Directors of the Port of Gdansk Authority SA. Appointed to the office became Stanislaw Cora. Stanislaw Cora, born in 1948 in Cracow, is a graduate of the Law Faculty of the Jagiellonian University and the Faculty of Humanities of the Gdansk University, and has PhD in Law. As part of his managerial career, in the 1990s, he organized the Companies' Consultation Board cooperating with the Governor of the Gdansk Region (later on - Gdansk Chamber of Industry and Commerce). He acted as the Gdansk Governor representative at the Fish Processing Plant in Gdynia and at "Centrostal" company in Gdansk and held the office of commissary director at the "Soma" company and the Gdansk-based Tin Packaging Plant. For a decade, he was director of the Legal Bureau at the National Commission of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union "Solidarity". In the years 1998-2000, Stanislaw Cora was President of the Board of the former Port of Gdansk Authority SA and in 2000-2002 Vice-President of the Port of Gdansk Authority SA.
