Nearly 20 meters long and 32 metres wide, the vessel has a carrying capacity of 21 thou. DWT taking on board 6,400 motor vehicles. Built at the Gdynia shipyard in 2006, she is the biggest ship that has ever docked at the WOC II Quay. The modernisation of the quay has been co-financed from the European Union funds within the framework of the Sectoral Operational Programme - Transport. "Talia" called at the Port of Gdansk Port Free Zone as part of a regular shipping service with Japan. The carrier brought a load of 2,257 Toyota motor vehicles destined for the Russian market. The discharge was commenced at 16:40 hrs CET and completed at 04:40 hrs CET the following day and the handling operation was performed by Port of Gdansk Cargo Logistics Ltd. |
