The end of the cruise season at the Port of Gdansk

22.09.2008

The arrival of "Alexander von Humboldt" on 19 September marked the end of the 2008 cruise season at the Port of Gdansk. Since 14 May, thirty-six passenger ships visited Gdansk, bringing over thirteen thousand tourists.

The cruise liners docked at the Oliwskie Quay, Captain Ziolkowski Quay and at the Westerplatte Ferry Terminal.

The Baltic Sea is increasingly gaining popularity among tourist worldwide. Our ports are frequented by vessels that arouse admiration due to their remarkable size and beauty. The most significant cruise liner that called at the Gdansk port this year was the luxurious nine-deck 206.5 metres long "Seven Seas Voyager" carrying 657 passengers.
