The parties committed to take steps towards increasing cargo turnovers in both ports, using international transport networks, included the Volga-Don navigation channel. The letter of intent was signed by: Andrzej Kasprzak, President of the Board of PGA SA and Talgat Abylgazin, Director General of the Republic's state-run company Commercial Seaport of Akhtau. On 21 April this year, Director T. Abylgazin paid a visit to the Port of Gdansk.
