Modern technologies at the Port of Gdansk Harbour Master's Office

For some time now, the VTS system at the Northern Port Harbour Master's Office has been operating based on the latest information technologies. The entire scope of data is real-time processed and registered digitally, that results in the shipping improved efficiency and better safety standards at the Port of Gdansk. The system is operated by the adequately qualified and experienced staff of the Maritime Office.

Modern technological solutions that have been applied are in keeping with those implemented at the biggest western seaports, such as the Port of Rotterdam. They are of great development potential and their scope of possibilities extends into the future to comply with the requirements imposed by the investments projected or those under development at the Northern Port.
