Transport Week 2013

26.02.2013

Each of the documents complied for the purpose of the event features numerous logo signs and trade marks of the companies and organisations keen to maintain close mutual business relations. For the third time running, the conference "Transport Week 2013" in Gdansk will gather industry professionals representing a variety of maritime sectors such as transport, logistics, forwarding, foreign trade, maritime media and education as well as seaports. However, the Baltic Container Conference, scheduled as part of the event, will already be held for the seventh consecutive time. The Gdynia-based event and conference agency "Actia Forum" - in partnership with joint stock company Port of Gdansk Authority and with the support of companies such as DCT Gdansk, OT Logistics and Goodman - has invited all the industry professionals and organisations taking advantage in their business operations of access to the sea to the event venue at the Polish Baltic Philharmonic on 5-7 March 2013.

In addition to the broad-ranging exchange of opinions that are relevant to the entire industry, arrangements have been made to schedule panel debates. The aforementioned issues concerning challenges and perspectives faced by the global, European and regional container markets will be additionally enhanced by a panel discussing in particular the potentials and trends observed on the LNG markets. A separate forum will be created by the companies involved in their everyday business practice in building logistical chains and intermodal connections in Poland, Russia and Ukraine. Another dedicated debate will focus on developing offshore wind power engineering since the organisers' ambition is to create a forum that will provide a true and accurate reflection of all the hopes and barriers affecting the growing significance of the countries in the Baltic Europe in terms of the global maritime trade.
