Visitors from Aquitania

05.01.2004

On December 19, 2003 the Port of Gdansk hosted a group of delegates representing the Aquitanian region, the capital of which being the city of Bordeaux. The visitors arrived upon an invitation extended by the Provincial Governor's Office, with the introduction to the Port scheduled as part of the agenda of the delegates' visit to Gdansk.

Among the delegates there were the Vice-President of the region and representatives of business-related institutions. On the part of the Port of Gdansk Authority SA hosting the guests was the Vice-President of the Board of Directors Mr. Zbigniew Perlinski. As the tradition has it on this kind of occasions, after a brief multimedia introduction, the French visitors had the opportunity to admire a panoramic view of the Port from the tower of the Northern Port Harbour Master's Office.
